Eligibile After 12th For TNPSC Group IV Exam

I have completed 12th class and want to give entrance exam of TNPSC Group IV exam. Am I eligible or not ?

TamilNadu Public Service Commission – TNPSC organizes Group 4 exam for the recruitment of various vacancies in Tamil Nadu State Govt Departments.

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent for all the posts given in the Group 4 notification.

Technical Qualification:
I. For Typist:
Passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting
Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

II. For Steno Typist Gr-III:
Passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in
Shorthand
Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

III. Computer Qualification (Typist & Steno Typist Gr-III):
Passed the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation awarded by the Technical Education Department.

Exam Pattern:
TNPSC conducts Group 4 Exam in single paper (Objective Type) which is of two types.
One type of question paper will contain questions on General Knowledge (100 items) , General English (100 items).
The other paper contains questions on General Knowledge (100 items) , General Tamil (100 items).
Aspirants are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first 100 items on General Knowledge.
Duration is of three hours.
Minimum qualifying marks is 90.
Maximum marks is 300.

Selection is based on written examination & Oral Test.
