Hey the Master of Business Administration is a graduate degree for business professionals who want to learn advanced business and management theories and techniques.


Eastern Kentucky University, commonly referred to as Eastern or by the acronym EKU

All MBA courses are scheduled a maximum of one night per week with some online and blended course options as well

Admission Requirements

A minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 with a bachelor's degree from an
accredited institution

A score of 450 or higher on the GMAT OR 145 verbal, 147 quantitative on the GRE*

At least a "B" on each of the following prerequisite courses or equivalents:

ACC 201 and ACC 202 or ACC 820 or ACC Module

CIS 300 or Spreadsheets Module

FIN 300 or Finance Module

MGT 300 or CLEP

MKT 300 or CLEP

QMB 200 or Statistics Module

ECO 230 & ECO 231 or CLEP or ECO Module


Application Process

Apply for admission through the Graduate School.


Submit offical GMAT or GRE score results from ETS to the Graduate School.

In addition to all requirements specified by the Graduate School, applicants must
submit the following items directly to the MBA office:

Cover letter detailing the specific reason(s) why your are pursuing your MBA at EKU

Three letters of reference (at least one must comment specifically about your oral and written communication skills).
