Eco-Schools for Early Year is developed to meet the needs of younger children and is aimed to children aged 0-5 years.
It includes:
Pre-Schools
Nurseries

Eco Committee : The Eco-Committee are an action team and are working force behind the Eco-Schools work.
Eco-Committee should include:
Children (if possible)
Members of staff
Community member e.g. parent

Early Years topics focused around:
Energy
Water
Transport
Litter
Waste
Global citizenship
Biodiversity
School grounds
Healthy living

The Eco School early year Action Plan is core to work as an Eco-School and developed using the results of Environmental Review. Whether its level as at Bronze, Silver or Green Flag level .
