The Mumbai University is invited candidates for get EBC scholarship. An online application form is provided by Mumbai University for EBC scholarship.

The Maharashtra Government is provides EBC scholarship to Mumbai University students.

The Maharashtra Government offers an educational scholarship for economically backward class students.

Name of the scheme is Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scheme.

EBC scholarship is for economically backward class students residing in Maharashtra and having Maharashtra state domicile certificate.

This scholarship is available for all students from all categories with family income below 8 lakhs per annum.

Benefit: Up to 50% of tuition fee
Income limit: 8 lakhs per year

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission through CAP: Candidate must be admitted through CAP (Centralised Admission process) conducted by State CET Cell of Maharashtra State.
Maharashtra Domicile: Candidate must be domiciled of Maharashtra
Aadhaar Card: Candidate shall possess the Aadhaar seeded bank account having centralized banking system facility
No. of Children: EBC Scholarship is available for the first two children only.

Income Limit
Less than 8 lacs per annum: Those students having annual family income less than 8 lakhs can apply for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship.

Marks Criteria:
For Graduate and Post Graduate courses:
Minimum 50% marks in 12th if annual family income is between Rs. 2.5 Lac to Rs. 8 Lacs.
There are no such criteria if annual family income is less than 2.5 lacs

For Diploma courses:
50% marks in 10th if annual family income is between Rs. 2.5 Lac to Rs. 8 Lac

Admission Confirmation Letter (Through CAP rounds)
Mark Sheet of the previous qualifying examination
TC (Transfer Certificate) of Last attended school or College
Gap Certificate (If there is a gap in the study)
Income Certificate issued by Tahashildar
Domicile Certificate (Issued by Maharashtra Govt./ Maharashtra-Karnataka Border)
Ration Card Xerox.
Bank Passbook Xerox.
Aadhaar card Xerox.
Aadhaar linking: Acknowledgement of Aadhaar linking with Bank Account
Declaration (not taken other scholarship)
