The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Kakinada, established in the year 2008, has a renowned history.

This was founded in 1946 as Government College of Engineering, which spread over 110 acres, became a part of JNTU, Hyderabad.

The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

This Examination is the pre-requisite for admission into various professional courses offered in the University/Private Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
