Hello sir, I am Venkat Sai. I am from Andhra Pradesh. I want you to help me by giving me some information that whether Persons of Indian origin (PIO) are eligible for EAMCET exam. can you give me details about the eligibility?

EAMCET is Engineeirng Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is an entrance examination required for admission to some engineering and medical colleges in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. AP EAMCET 2016 exam will be held on May 5, 2016. This exam will be conducted by JNTU on behalf of APSCHE (AP State council for Higher Education) As you have asked whether Persons of Indian origin (PIO) are eligible for this exam or not, I want to tell you that Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are leigible for EAMCET. ELigibility: Contenders should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. Contenders should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order. For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech (Dairy), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Commercial Agriculture and Business Management (CA & BM)] courses: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age |
