EAMCET 2014 Dates

EAMCET is the entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for those applicants who wish to take admission in the engineering courses in the colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Important Dates:
Start of Online Application Forms: February 20, 2014
Last Date for Application Form: April 4, 2014
Correction of Application Form: April to 13, 2014
Hall Ticket Download: May 8 to 19, 2014
EAMCET 2014: May 22, 2014 from 10 am to 1 pm
Result: June 9, 2014

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should be of Indian Nationality . Persons of India Origin (PIO)
Applicants should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status

Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects along with the Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects.

Applicants should obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) to meet the Eligibility Criteria of EAMCET 2014.
Applicants must have completed 16 years of age as on December 31, 2014

Selection Procedure:
EAMCET

Exam Pattern:
Based on three subjects namely Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Each question will be of one mark.
All these questions will be of objective type.
Comprise of 160 questions in total from which 80 will be of Mathematics, 40 of Chemistry and last 40 of Physics.
