An APGenco Assistant Engineer eligibility criterion is as given below:

Assistant Engineer

Specialized Field
Electrical,
Mechanical,
Electronics
Civil

Eligibility:
Assistant Engineer – Electrical –
Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

Assistant Engineer – Mechanical –
Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

Assistant Engineer – Civil –
Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

Assistant Engineer -Electronics - Must posses B.E/B.Tech./A.M.I.E., in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Controls Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics & Control Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation & Power/ Power electronics or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

APGENCO AE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, APPLICATION FEE AND
EDUCATIONAL ELIGIBILITY:

Electrical – Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

Mechanical – Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India

Electronics – Must posses B.E/B.Tech./A.M.I.E., in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Controls Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation

Engineering/Electronics & Control Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation & power/ Power electronics or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India.

Civil – Must possess B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India
* The aspirants who completed final year BE/B.Tech./A.M.I.E. can also be eligible. However, they must generate the required certificates if selected. Lest, they would be disqualified for appointment.

AGE LIMIT : Must not be more than 38 years for APGENCO AE 2010 Exam. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC aspirants and 10 years in respect of physically challenged aspirants.

APPLICATION FEE:
OC aspirants:
Must pay an amount of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred only) (non-refundable) (Rs. 350/- towards examination fee and Rs.150/- towards application registration fee)

Physically Challenged (having disability of more than 40% and above) and aspirants belonging to BC, SC & ST :
Must pay an amount of Rs.150/-(Rupees one hundred and fifty only) (non-refundable) towards application registration fee.

Aspirants belonging to other States :
Must pay an amount of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred only) (non-refundable) (Rs. 350/- towards examination fee and Rs.150/- towards application registration fee)
