I am appearing in the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board TGT exam of Computer, Science and now want to download the syllabus of it for the preparation of exam so please tell me from where I can download its syllabus, give me the process of it?

As you want here I am giving below DSSSB TGT Computer Science (SC) paper Syllabus:

A). 1. General Awareness. 2. General Intelligence & Reasoning ability. 3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability. 4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension. 5. Test of English Language & Comprehension. (20 Marks each)

B). Objective type multiple choice questions on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed for the post. (100 Marks)

Section-A:


(i) General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc.

(ii) General Intellegence & Reasoning Ability : The syllabus of General Intellegence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.

(iii) Arthmetical & Numerical Ability : The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc. of 10th level.

(iv) & (v) Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension: In addition to the testing of candidates understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc. would also be covered.

Software concepts: Types of Software System Software, Utility Software and Application Software

System Software: Operating System, Complier, Interpreter and Assembler

Operating System: Need for Operating System, Functions of Operating System (Processor Management, Memory Management, File Management and Device Management), Types of Operating Systeminteractive(GUI based), Time Sharing, Real Time and Distributed,

Commonly used operating system: UNIX, LINUX, Windows, Solaris, BOSS (Bharat Operating System Solutions); Mobile OS Android,Symbian.

Utility Software: Anti Virus, File Management tools, Compression tools and Disk Management tools (Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmenter, Backup).

Open Source Concepts: Open Source Software, Freeware, Shareware, Proprietary Software.

Application Software: Office Tools Word Processor, Presentation Tool, Spreadsheet Package, Database

Management System; Domain Specific tools School Management System, Inventory Management System, Payroll System, Financial Accounting, Hotel Management, Reservation System and Weather Forecasting System.

Number System: Binary, Octal, Decimal, Hexadecimal and conversion between two different number systems.

Internal Storage encoding of Characters: ASCII, ISCII (Indian scripts Standard Code for Information Interchange), and UNICODE (for multilingual computing)

Microprocessor: Basic concepts, Clock speed (MHz, GHz), 16 bit, 32 bit, 64 bit processors; 128 bir processors; Types CISC Processors (Complex Instruction set computing), RISC Processors (Reduced Instruction set Computing), and EPIC (Explicitly parallel Instruction computing).

Memory Concepts: Units: Byte, Kilo Byte, Mega Byte, Giga Byte, Tera Byte, Peta Byte, Exa Byte, Zetta Byte, Yotta Byte.

Primary Memory: Cache, RAM, ROM

Secondary Memory: Fixed and Removable storage Hard Disk Drive, CD/DVD Drive, Pen Drive, Blue Ray Disk.
