Dress Code In SRM University

Hey I am Rahul and want to take admission in SRM University . I have come to know from my cousin who is studying at SRM University that dress code for for male students is Trousers and Collared shirts or T-shirts, Socks and Shoes , so I want to know what is actually cost of buying dress code of SRM University ?

The Dress Code and other Code of Conduct for International Students as portrait by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly SRM University) are as follows:

Dress Code

Boys
Trousers and Collared shirts or T-shirts
Shoes and Socks
Girls
Formal Wear: Chudidar, Salwar Kameez, Sari, Trousers and collared Shirts or T-Shirts
Formal Foot Wear
Hair beyond shoulder length to be tied up.

Prohibited for Boys
T-Shirts with round collars
Tight fitting dirty jeans
Chappals
Shorts/ folded pants
Pony tails
Ear Rings
Torn trousers touching the floor
Trousers with too many (multiple) pockets

Prohibited for Girls
Tight fitting dirty jeans
Sleeveless tops/ Shirts/ T-Shirts/ Revealing deep tops
Skirts, shorts, folded pants
Torn trousers touching the floor

Prohibited for both Boys and Girls
Short shirts/ tops and low waist trousers exposing body parts.
Clothing depicting illegal drugs, alcohol, profane language, racial/ sexual vulgar suggestions
In case of violation of the dress code the student concerned will be asked to leave the academic session. Visiting students are also expected to observe the dress code.

Inside the Campus
One is not allowed to wear the following attire and footwear in lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, laboratories, workshops, libraries or offices:
Attire: sleeveless T-shirts, singlet, shorts, and attire printed with offensive or obscene wordings, revealing attire or mini skirts
Footwear: slippers and sandals without heel straps
