Well the Defence Research and Development Organisation is an agency of the Republic of India,

It is charged with the military's research and development, headquartered in New Delhi, India.

Yes in the year 2015 Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) project propsed in the Vijayawada city in A.P. State

It is ‘Missile Test Range Facility Project’ is under the Krishna Wildlife Sanctuary near Gullalamoda of Nagayalanka mandal in Krishna district.

DRDO was needed to have permission from the A.P. State Wildlife Board for getting the sanctuary area .

It is found that the test range of the project is inside the sanctuary

It would give its opinion on the project in the coming days.
