Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, also known as Avadh University or Awadh University, is a university located on National Highway 96 in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

It was established in 1975 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh

Courses and admission details:


Basic eligibility for BA, BCA, B.Sc, BBA & BFA programs is a pass in 10+2.

RMLAU also offers admission to B.Tech & MCA program on the basis of valid score UPSEE followed by counselling.

MA, M.Sc, MCA & MSW courses require a Bachelors degree in the relevant discipline.

Candidates applying for B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed/ LL.B & M.Ed courses are required to score at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Admission is based on a valid score in Avadh University Combined Admission Test (AUCAT) followed by counselling.

RMLAU also offers Ph.D. in various disciplines. The admission is offered on the basis of good score in Common Eligibility Test (CET) conducted by university departments followed by an interview.
