M.D(Hom.)

M.D(Hom.) - Post Graduate Degree Course

M. D. (Hom.) in Materia Medica.
M. D. (Hom.) in Organon of Medicine & Homoeopathic Philosophy.
M. D. (Hom.) in Repertory.
M. D. (Hom.) in Practice of Medicine.

The course comprise of the following subjects, namely,

A. General Subjects:
Man in Health (Holistic concept).
Man in Disease (Holistic concept).
History of Medicine, Scientific Methodology, including Research Methodology and Statistics.

B. Special Subjects:
Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy.
Homoeopathic Materia Medica.
Repertory.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidate seeking admission to M.D.(Homoeopathy) possess the degree of
Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the second Schedule of Central Council of Homoeopathy Act, 1973, after undergoing a course of study of not less than 5 years and 6 months duration including one year compulsory internship;

or

Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (graded Degree) or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule of Central Council of Homoeopathy Act, 1973, after undergoing a course of study not less than 2 years duration.

Procedure
Admission of students is on the basis of merit. Candidates seeking admission must submit an application to the Principal in the prescribed form, which can be obtained from the office.

The completed application form along with the photocopies of certificates and a D.D

The completed application form is to be sent to Principal

Selection and admission to all courses is provisional and is subject to the norms / provisions made applicable by the Government of Karnataka.

The candidates who meet the above requirements are required to appear for entrance test conducted.

Candidates provisionally selected after the entrance test are intimated about the fees payable to the institution.

Selection intimation letter is to be surrendered to the college office at the time of admission.
