Research Interests :

The focus to understand cross talk of hepatic microenvironment and activation of hepatic stem cells in different end stage liver disease to understand impairment of hepatic regeneration in liver failure.

Developing an non cellular and cellular based therapeutic protocol for management of end stage liver disease.

Different clinical and pre-clinical studies have shown potential contribution of bone marrow derived progenitor and stem cells in hepatic regeneration.
