Punjab Medical Entrance Test is an Entrance examination conducted each year for admission to various bachelor medical courses which are MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS in the entire medical, dental, Ayurvedic/ Homoeopathic Institutes across Punjab.
Punjab Medical Entrance Test is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot on behalf of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.

Yes, Domicile certificate is required to submit for Punjab PMT.

Eligibility criteria
A candidate should be a bonafide resident of Punjab with Punjab domicile.

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50% marks(40% for SC/BC) in all these subjects. Also a candidate should have passed in English as well.

A candidate should have attained the age of 17 years

Reservation of seats :

85% seats reserved for Punjab students
15% seats reserved for other states students

Exam pattern
The Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) test paper consists of 200 objective type questions.
Each correct answer carries four marks and there will be one negative mark for each wrong answer.

The test duration is 15 minutes.
The questions will be from the 10+2 subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

05.02.2014

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Medical and Dental (MBBS and BDS) admission 2014 will be counducted on :
4th May 2014, Sunday.

I was born in punjab but shifted to delhi for studies. I have done my 12th frm delhi..am I eligible for punjab pmt
