DMRC Driver Salary

Hi I am driver by profession doing job in a private school in Delhi and want to join Delhi Metro Rail Corporation as a metro train driver . Do you have any idea that what is the Salary structure of metro train driver at DMRC ?

The base pay for a fresher who takes up a job as pilot of the train is between ₹13,500 and ₹25,520 per month.

That is coupled with a rent allowance of 30% and perks of 35%. Plus, a Dearness Allowance as specified by the government.

On joining the basic is 13500.

Basic 13500
DA now( nov 2016) is 120.3 % = 16240.5
HRA is 30% = 4050
Perks is 46 % = 6210
Gross is 40000.5
You can take lease amount instead of HRA which is 51 %.
Thus gross salary is 42835.5

Now, the Deductions they take
PF Contribution = 3480
Welfare fund = 55
Tax deduction at source( depends on which month you join for that financial year) is around = 500

In Hand Salary = 38800.5

Apart from this a SC/TO when works as TO , he gets extra 3k4k for running the train on kilometers basis.
