Direct Admission In Dr Dy Patil Medical College

I want to get direct admission in MBBS in Dr Dy Patil Medical College so can you please tell me the process of admission?

The Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College was established in 1996. The College is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). The college has been accorded the status of Deemed-to-be-University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India on recommendation of the University Grants Commission (UGC)

MBBS Admission

The College does not offer direct admission in MBBS course.

Candidates have to clear AICET exam for admission.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in Physics, Chemistry and Biology took together at the AICET.

Only those candidates who have secured at least 50 percent marks in the AICET-2016 shall be considered eligible for provisional admission to the MBBS/BDS course as per the Merit list.

Eligibility –

10 + 2 / HSC or an equivalent examination and shall have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50 percent marks (40 percent marks in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Class) in Physics Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination

The candidate seeking admission for the programmes shall also have secured at least 50 percent marks (100 out of 200 marks) at the AICET.

The candidate, seeking to appear at the AICET-2016 shall be an Indian national and shall have completed 17 years of age
