Is Diploma Equivalent To Graduation

I have done Diploma in textile engineering .I want to know whether Diploma in textile engineering is equivalent to Graduation or not ?

Diploma and graduation in a field are different from each other .Diploma is less than a graduate. Diploma hands cannot apply for engineering graduate level posts where as over qualification is permitted for some posts.

However, A three year diploma is some times considered equivalent to B Sc degree for technician level posts/ workshop assistants.
But degree is degree

Diploma has only eligibility for local or down level job.
On other hand graduation is all over world valid from recognized university or college and applicants are eligible for any high post job and responsibility.
So you doing graduation then you are valid for any job.
