Difficulty Level Of AFCAT

Is the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) difficult, tell me about the difficulty level of this exam? Also provide me the previous year question papers of the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) so that I can know about it?

The paper pattern of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is as follows:

AFCAT is a 2 stage exam

1. Online AFCAT Test
Exam Subject Duration No of Qs Max Marks
AFCAT General Awareness 120 Mins 100 300
Verbal Ability in English,
Numerical Ability,
Military Reasoning and Aptitude Test

Exam Subject Duration No of Qs Max Marks

EKT (Ground Duty Mechanical, Computer Science 45 Mins 50 150
Technical Branch only) and Electrical and Electronics

The Online AFCAT Test will be Online.
The exam paper will be objective type and in English only.
And for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

2. SSB
Once qualify the online AFCAT Test, you will become eligible for SSB.
The SSB is a 5 day interview consisting of following stages.

STAGE I
STAGE-I happens to be the 1st day. On this day you will undergo following tests.
Officer Intelligence Rating Test.
Picture perception and Discussion Test

STAGE II

STAGE-II which would take 3-4 days, in these days you will undergo following test.

Psychological Tests (Written Test)
Group Tests (Interactive indoor and outdoor activities)
Personal Interview
If applied for flying branch then will also have to undergo Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test.

STAGE III
Once qualify STAGE III, will be called for Medical Examination either

STAGE IV
AFSB will prepare an All India Merit List based on performance in the Written Test & Interview.
