Gandhara art was a style of Buddhist visual art developed in what is now northwestern Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan.

Mathurā art was a style of Buddhist visual art that flourished in the trading and pilgrimage centre of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.

1.in this art school stress is given to the inner beauty and facial emotions
2. Sculptures were made on White-spotted red stones.
3. influenced by Indian sculptures.
4. from the 2nd century BC to the 12th century AD
