Re: Difference Among M.Tech And M.E.

Here I am providing the difference between ME and M.Tech which you are looking for.

ME is master’s degree course and it is a academic qualification and it is regarded as more respected and recognised degree.

For ME applicants must have passed B.E. / B.Tech degree.

Applicants who wish to pursue higher studies in engineering can opt for M.E. courses.

M.E. is predominantly a lecture based course which is accredited by one of the professional engineering bodies like IMechE, IEE, etc.

M.E. Degree applicants is able to get chartered status with master’s degree.

While

M.Tech is two years postgraduate course . The program is basically designed to equip applicants with the practical skills with enough theory to develop in them the power of systematic thinking and reasoning, practical approach and exposition and also to understand the theories involved in the application.

The importance of this program is at height now. As the craze and popularity of B.Tech is increasing, applicants are applying for M.Tech after the completion of bachelor’s degree to get more knowledge and specialisations on their respective trade so that they can get high payable jobs.
