Centre for Computer Studies of Dibrugarh University is one of the premier institutes of North-East-India imparting computer education.

It was established for creating Computer awareness among the teachers, research scholars and employees of the University.

It started Computer education by introducing a "Six-month Certificate Course on Computer Programming".

It organizes Computer Awareness Programmes for school students of neighboring areas of the University. It has also conducted a number of training Programmes for University employees and Bank employees.
