I have passed 12th. Tell me the basic qualification required for pursuing BDS and what is their fee structure?

BDS- Bachelor of Dental Surgery. It is a 5 year long degree, comprising of 4 years study and 1 year internship.

The basic eligibility criteria that candidate must have minimum 50% marks in 12th and have subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery includes H.S.C. (10+2) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks. Admission is through a general, nationwide competitive examination.

Entrance Examinations are conducted in major cities all over India. The All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam conducted by the CBSE is common for both the M.B.B.S. and the Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS). The allocation of institutions is based on merit.
