I want to apply for UPSC Indian Forest Service IFS Exam so can you please provide me the details of the exam?

The Union Public Service Commission UPSC conducts Indian Forest Services IFS Exam for recruitment to forestry services of India.

IFS Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects - Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.

Age:

Your age must be between 21 years 32 years on 1st August of the year of exam. Upper age limit is relaxable in some cases.

IFS 2018 Important Dates

Date of Notification: 7 February, 2018
Last Date to Apply: 6 March, 2018
Date of Exam (Prelims): 3 June, 2018
IFS Main Exam: 2 December, 2018

After written examination, interview for personality test will be of 300 marks.
