Weekend MBA

Offered on DePaul's Loop Campus, the Weekend MBA is ideal for working professionals whose job and family commitments make it challenging to attend classes during the week. One takes core courses with the same group of peers in a curriculum that emphasizes management and leadership.

Who: Professionals with 2+ years of experience

When: Courses are offered two Saturdays per month on the Loop Campus, with online coursework between class sessions

Program Length: Two-year program


Admission Deadlines


The Weekend MBA program starts in the fall on the Loop Campus, but students may submit their applications any time of year.
The admission committee meets in February, April and July to make decisions on applicants. One who applies after these deadlines may have their applications considered if space remains available.


General Graduate Admission Requirements


Application & Fee
Apply online and submit a $60 application fee.


Essay
Applicants to all MBA programs are required to submit an essay detailing their interest and professional goals.


Letter of Recommendation
One needs submit one letter of recommendation, preferably from a current or previous employer. Letters may be submitted through the online application or to kgsb@depaul.edu.


Official Transcripts
The School requires official transcripts from all degree-granting institutions that one attended. The admission committee reserves the right to request official transcripts from institutions where an applicant attended but did not complete a degree.


Résumé/Curriculum Vitae
One must also submit a professional résumé that summarizes the work experience and educational background.


Interviews
Interviews are required only to the Full-Time MBA program. The admission committee may require one to other programs to schedule an interview if necessary.


GMAT/GRE Scores
Applicants to certain programs are required to submit GMAT or GRE scores, unless they qualify for a GMAT/GRE waiver or other exclusions.
