The Department of Psychology at the University of Mysore has the distinction of being the second oldest Department in the country.

The Department was offering M.A. Degree in Psychology till the year 1998.

M.Sc. in Psychology

Duration - Four semesters

Eligibility - Graduation with Psychology B.A./B.Sc. with Psychology as a Major or Optional subject OR M.Ed OR B.Sc./M.Sc.( Speech & Hearing) with 60% in Psychology

M.phil. in Learning Disability

Duration - Two semesters

Eligibility - Masters Degree in Psychology/Special Education/Education/Speech Language Pathology/Speech and Hearing/Audiology/Linguistics/Human Development/ Behavioral Science/Medicine/Neurology/Masters Degree in any subject with B.Ed/Masters Degree with one-year Diploma or Certificate Course in Clinical Linguistics/Dyslexia/Learning Disability from recognised University/Institution.

Diploma in Counselling and Health Psychology

Duration - Two semesters
