The CSJM University was launched a - two years master degree course in social work from 2004. The University provides intake of 60 students in one batch and that is through an entrance examination followed by personal interview.

Presently the course is governed by self finance scheme (S.F.S.).

This university is offering master degree in social work. Admission to the two year full time post graduate course in social work is open to the students of any stream provided they have secured 50% or above marks.

S.C. and S.T. candidates require minimum 45% marks. The department has produced its first batch of students specialized in following areas:
Industrial relations and personal management (IRPM)
Rural and urban community development
Medical and psychiatry social work
Family and child welfare
