Entry requirement for the course :
Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course will be M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology .

Candidate should secure minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology.

For SC/ST/OBC category candidate should secure minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Sri Ramachandra University is a type of deemed university.

It was established in the year 1985.

It is located in Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Department of Clinical Psychology was established on September 2000.

It runs a 2 year regular course in M. Phil Clinical Psychology as per
guidelines of Rehabilitation Council of India.

It emphases on career based education, patient care, outreach programs,
and research activities very much thoughtful to the contemporary needs of
the society.

It has an vast facility of library books, test materials and equipments related
to assessment; like tests of intelligence, personality, projective and
neuropsychological battery and therapeutic facilities like play therapy,
biofeedback and multi behaviour therapy equipment.

Field visit to various institutes are framed for the improvement of student’s
clinical exposure.



Eligibility required for M.Phil Clinical Psychology:



Applicants should have got M.A. / M.Sc. degree in Psychology awarded by a
University recognized by the UGC and secured a minimum of 55 percentage
of marks in the aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clinical
Psychology.

SC/ST/ OBC category, applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate
