Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required To Open The Current Account

1. Current Accounts can be opened by following type individuals, public and private companies, partnership firms, HUF’s, sole proprietary firms, specified associates, societies, trusts, etc.


2. The Bank requires identity, including verification of address, of a person/s seeking to open an account.
3. The Bank requires a satisfactory introduction of the person/s opening the account by a person, how also have account in the Dena Bank.

4. The Bank requires two recent photographs of the person/s opening/operating the account, as per R.B.I. Directives.

5. Documents Required To Open The Current in Dena bank Account

• Identity proof such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport.
• Address proof such as Latest Electricity bill, Telephone bill, Passport.
Private and Public Ltd Companies
• Commencement and Incorporation of Business Certificate.
• Articles and Memorandum of Association.
• Board resolution which authorizes the operation and opening of account.
• GIR No or PAN or Form 60 which is completed.
• List of the Directors along with their residential address.
Partnership Firms
• Registration Certificate and Partnership Deed.
• Establishment and Shop Certificate.
• Letter from the partners who approve the concerned persons to operate and open the account.
Proprietorship Concerns
• Certificate from Statutory Body or State Govt. or Sales Tax or Trade License Certificate or Establishment and Shop Certificate.
• Passport size photos of all the signatories authorized.
• Karta’s and Co –Parceners residential address.
• Completed Form 60 or GIR No or PAN.
• Letter of the HUF which is signed by all the Co- Parceners and the Karta.
• Letter of proprietorship which is signed by proprietor in his individual capacity with rubber stamp.
7. Dena bank not provides any interest is paid o¬n credit balances kept in current account.

8. Minimum balance will be required to be maintained the account.

Hey as Dena Bank, in July 1969 along with 13 other major banks was nationalized and is now a Public Sector Bank constituted under the Banking Companies

Eligibility:

Existing Customers who are already maintaining the monthly average balance of Rs.2 lacs& above and the minimum balance of Rs.5000 for one full calendar month will be eligible to avail of the scheme with immediate effect.
Existing customers who are not maintaining the monthly average balance of Rs.2 lacs and the minimum balance of Rs. 5000 in their Current account shall be eligible for the scheme only if they maintain the required average balance and minimum balance for one full calendar month.
The new customers who want to avail this facility will open the account and maintain the required monthly average balance of Rs.2 lacs and the minimum balance of Rs. 5000 for one full calendar month after opening the account, to be eligible to avail the facilities.
Monthly Average Balance: Rs 2 lacs.

Minimum Balance: Rs. 5000/-

Conditions:
Monthly average balance of Rs.2 lac is to be maintained for one full calendar month.

A minimum balance of Rs.5000/- has to be maintained in the account at any point of time.

Card rate will be applicable for units converted to term deposits if the aggregate amount of deposit so converted to term deposit is less than Rs. 1 crores per day.

Bulk deposit rate on term deposit to be announced by the Treasury Department every day would be applicable for units converted to term deposits if the aggregate amount of deposit so converted to term deposit is Rs.1 crore and above per day.
