The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi is organized Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for recruitment of teachers. Here I am giving you information about important dates to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Events Important Dates Online submission of application forms October 11, 2013- October 31, 2013 Last date for Receipt of Confirmation Page at CBSE Office November 7, 2013 Applications not received' cases (Contact CBSE) December 20, 2013- January 3, 2014 Online corrections in candidate's particulars December 20, 2013- January 3, 2014 Admit card download January 9, 2014 CTET 2014 Examination February 16, 2014 Paper II- 9.30 am- 12 noon Paper I- 2 pm to 4.30 pm Declaration of result March 21, 2014 Now dates for CTET is over , next CTET notification will publish in October 2014 Application Fees: CATEGORY Only Paper – I or II Both Paper – I & II General/OBC Rs.500/- Rs.800/- SC/ST/Differently Abled Person Rs.250/- Rs.400/- Paper Structure/Scheme: Paper First (1-5 Class) -There will be 5 sections namely Mathematics, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Environmental studies and Language 2. -The time duration is 2:30hrs. -Maximum marks are 150 for the 150 questions, equal distribution of marks i.e. 30 to each section. Paper Second (6-8 Class) -Language 2, Language 1 and Child Development and Pedagogy are the compulsory sections comprising total marks 90 for 90 questions -While from the other two sections namely Mathematics & Science and Social Science, candidate can opt any one section to attempt. -The section covers the 60 marks. Eligibility Criteria: Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage): You must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) Or Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. Delhi Teachers Eligibility Test conducts by Indian Government for candidates who would like to teach students studying in Class I to V or studying in Class VI to VIII. The selected candidates will teach in schools located in Delhi. The Delhi TET exam generally conducts in the month of November. Tentative Important dates: - Starting date for online application: -August 2015 Closing date for online application: -September 2015 Admit Card Date: October 2015 Exam Date: Nov 2015 Delhi TET Eligibility Criteria: Delhi TET qualifications Teachers of classes (I-V) paper I 2015: - 12th with minimum 45 percent marks. Those appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.Ed.) /2- year Diploma in special Education are also eligible. OR Candidates with BA/B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed. qualification can also apply. Delhi (DTET) Qualification Teachers of classes VI-VIII(paper II)2015: B.A./B.Sc. and those appearing in final 2 year D.Ed./B.A. /B.sc. with at least 45 percent marks.
