The Delhi University is one of the premier Universities of India. The University of Delhi was established in 1922. The University of Delhi conducts an entrance test for Engineering. There are many colleges in Delhi that are affiliated to the University and offer many Engineering courses. Candidates who want to take admission in those colleges for B.Tech/B.E courses. They have to appear the entrance examination.

Eligibility:
Candidate should pass in 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
B.Sc. (Gen.) Group ‘A’ Final Examination or equivalent examination of the University of Delhi
B.Sc. (Honors) Examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the University of Delhi

There is no facility of online form. The fee of form is Rs.400/- for General/OBC/CW category and 200/- for SC / ST / PH category. Candidate has to submit the fee via Bank draft or a pay order in favor of the Registrar, Delhi University. Please, you must write your name, address and telephone number (if any) at the back of the Bank Draft / Pay Order.

Delhi University Combined Entrance Examination (DU CEE) conducted by the Delhi University for the admission in B.E/ B.Tech engineering programmes.

Important Note

The DU CEE Exam has been replaced by the JEE Main entrance examination for the year onwards.

So you have to appear in IIT mains exam for taking admission in UG engineering courses of DTU.

Important dates of IIT 2016 (Tentative)

JEE Main online application starts – first week of November 2015

JEE Main online application last date – last week of December 2015

Correction period – two weeks in second half of January 2016

Availability of JEE Main admit card 2016 – first week of March 2016 (onwards)

JEE Main pen and paper based paper – first week of April

JEE Main Computer based Paper – second to third week of April 2016

JEE Main Result 2016 Declaration (paper 1 & paper 2) – first week of July 2016

Eligibility

Date of Birth:

The age of general and OBC candidates must be 14 years and the SC/ST/PwD candidates must be 19 years of age.

Qualification:

The candidates must be passed or appearing the 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with PCM group with minimum 50% in core subjects.

Exam Pattern for JEE Main

The Whole paper will be set of 90 questions.

Each subject i.e Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will contain 30 questions.

Negative marking pattern will be followed.
