Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University is also known as The University of Gorakhpur. It is a teaching and residential-cum-affiliating University situated in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

DDUGU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should have a Master's Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

Candidates who have passed the M.Phil. Degree in the relevant subject is also eligible to apply.

A relaxation of 5% of marks will be given to reserved category candidates.

Ph.D. Application Fee:

For General/OBC Category Candidates:- Rs. 1000/-
For SC/ST Category Candidates:- Rs. 500/-

Ph.D. Admission Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university and followed by an Interview.
