Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have a master degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% of marks.

Age Limit:
Candidate should not be more than 28 years.

Age Relaxation:
For SC/ST/ PWD/OBC Candidate:
5 years

I want to apply for the DBT JRF Entrance Exam so please give me the details about its eligibility criteria required for it?

Candidates are invited for the award of “DBT-Junior Research Fellowship” (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in areas of Biotechnology and Applied Biology.

JRFs will be selected according to merit under two categories: Category I & II.

Category I are tenable in any University in India where the students can register for Ph.D.

Category II are eligible to join any DBT sponsored Project and avail fellowship equivalent to NET/GATE qualifications

It is organized by Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must have passed B.Tech/Post Graduate in related field from recognized University

Age Criteria:
Age should be below 28 years for general category

Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved category as per Government norms

Mode of Selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online admission test, “Biotechnology Eligibility Test” (BET).

Application Fee:
General/OBC candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/

SC/ST/PH categories are exempted from payment of application fees.
