IAS Exams (popularly known as or Civil Services Exams) are being conducted every year by UPSC in India to recruit officers for prestigious government services like IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IRS (Indian Revenue Service) etc


Exam is Conducted in Three phases that is :

Phase I: Preliminary Examination (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
Phase II: Mains (Civil Services Mains)
Phase III: Personality test (interview)

Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification :

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India

Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination.

Age :

the Age limit of the IAS Examination is 30 years the Age Relaxation is given to the OBC /SC /ST is 5 years

the IAS Examination Preliminary Examination Date is 07.8 .2016
