Admissions to all PG Diploma courses of C-DAC are done through C-DAC's Computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT). Consistently, C-CAT is normally directed in June (for August confirmations) and December (for February affirmations). Applicants who clear the Dec 2016 C-CAT may be considered for admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma courses of Feb 2017 cluster on the premise of their C-CAT positions and focus/course inclinations.

C-CAT Test Papers


C-CAT has three segments (Section A, Section B, Section C) of one hour length each. As appeared in Table, contingent upon the classification of courses chose by the competitor, Candidate ought to need to either show up for only one test paper (Section An) or two test papers (Section An and Section B) or all the three test papers (Section A, Section B and Section C). The medium of C-CAT is English.

Essential Note: A competitor can seem just for the particular section(s) in C-CAT according to the class of the courses selected by him/her at the season of filling the online application frame.

Each area in C-CAT will have 50 objective-sort questions. Each question will have four options as conceivable answers of which just a single will be right. There will be +3 (in addition to three) marks for each right answer, - 1 (less one) for each wrong answer, and 0 (zero) marks for every un-endeavored address. The greatest stamp a competitor can acquire in any one segment of C-CAT is 150.
