Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), is a private college established in 2001. The Act No. 6 of 2003 of the Gujarat Legislature provided its establishment and conferred on it the status of a University.

On 30 November 2004, it was included in the list of Universities maintained by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as approved by the AIU at its 84th Annual Meeting held during 12-14 November 2009.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Government of India has accredited DA-IICT with an ‘A’ Grade in 2017.


Food Court

DA-IICT campus has 7 food courts offering ample variety of food covering almost all the cuisine and taste from North India to South India.

The food courts are outsourced to run on a yearly basis to experienced caterers. The contractors are provided with modern infrastructure amenities at low cost in order to work out reasonable price for the food items served.

All the food courts serve North and South Indian Food and in addition, 2 food courts serve South Indian food, 1 special breakfast, snacks and pastries and one fruit and fruit juices.

There is a special arrangement with Amul to make Amul products available at the food court and a separate food court which serves non-vegetarian food including egg dishes.
