Customs exam age criteria for females

To become customs officer you should get into the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). IRS constitutes Income Tax and Customs and Central Exercise.
To get into IRS, you have to clear the Civil Services Examination.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the civil services exammination for recruitment into services like Indian Foreign Service, Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Central Secretariat Service and Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise), Group 'A'.

UPSC Civil Services 2014 Eligibility Criteria –

Bachelors degree from any recognized University or an equivalent qualification.
Age must be between 21 years to 32 years for both males and females.
The candidate must be a citizen of India,

Selection process –

The candidates who qualify the Prelims will be called for Mains round which includes written exam and personality test.

Important dates-

Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam, 2015-

Date Of Notification: May 16, 2015
Last Date of receipt of application: June 12, 2015 (Friday)
Date of Commencement of Exam: August 23, 2015 (Sunday)
Duration of Exam: 1 Day

Exam Pattern –

Exam will be a 4-hour Objective Type paper divided into two papers, each of two hours.
Each question paper will carry maximum 200 marks.
Question papers will cover topics from
General Awareness
English Language
Numerical Aptitude
Reasoning, etc.

The written exam will consist of-

Qualifying Papers: Paper A – An Indian language selected by the candidates and Paper B – English
Papers to be counted for merit: Essay (Paper I), General Studies (Paper II-V), Optional Subjects (Paper VI-VII)
