Customs after B.Sc

I have completed the B.Sc now I want to become a custom officer so will you please tell me what is the eligibility to become a custom officer after BSC?

The work of the Customs Department is to control the import and export of goods with the purpose of collecting duty and maintain a check on the entry of prohibited and restricted goods. The customs officer ensures that smuggling does not take place.

As you said that you have completed B.Sc now you want to join the Custom so for your help here I am giving you the information about it:

To join custom department, have to qualify the Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

Eligibility:
A Bachelor’s degree is the basic qualification.
Age should be 19 yrs and must have completed graduation.

Qualities required
Age limit- 18 years old
Indian citizenship
Must possess a Vehicle license
Ability to work flexible schedules
Have reliable transportation
Should never have used drugs of any kind
Must pass an extensive background check
Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the desired position
Must be able to activate a radio or telephone equipment and console monitors
Display an aptitude to cooperate genially and communicate with the community

Language Comprehension (English) 100 marks
Communication Skill & Writing Ability 200 marks
Arithmetic 200 marks
