Yes as per my knowledge Cochin University of Science and Technology is a centre of UGC NET

UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) is being conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in the month of December for the Aspirants who wish to be Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellows must pass this eligibility test with flying colors.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification-
Candidates interested in the test must have obtained Post Graduation degree in the respective stream or must be in the final year of Post Graduation degree level from a known University / Institution.
Candidates must have secured 50 per cent marks in the final year examination.

Age Limit
Limitation of age is 28 years for the post of Junior Research Fellow as on due date and no limit must be followed by the aspirants applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow.

Structure of Examination-

The eligibility test includes 3 papers which contains objective type questions.

1st and 2nd paper will be of 1 ¼ hours and 3rd paper will be of 2 ½ hours.

Paper-I & II will be of 100 marks and Paper-III will be of 150 marks.

In Paper-I 50 outs of 60 questions should be attempted, in Paper-II all 50 questions will be mandatory and in Paper-III all 75 questions will be mandatory.
