My brother wants to join the Five Year Integrated Dual Degree MIP, Ph.D Degree (Master of Intellectual Property, Doctor of Philosophy) course at the Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS) at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). so I am looking for the eligibility details of it. will you please give me the eligibility needed to apply for Five Year Integrated Dual Degree MIP, Ph.D Degree (Master of Intellectual Property, Doctor of Philosophy) course at the Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS) at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)?

The Inter University Centre for Intellectual Property Rights Studies (IUCIPRS) at CUSAT may notify Five scholarships every year for Research Scholars registered for Ph.D in IPR related areas in any University in Kerala.

IUCIPRS Ph.D Fellowship

Fellowship details:

The Junior Research Fellowship for the first two years is Rupees
15,000 per month and Senior Research Fellowship for the subsequent two years is
Rupees 18,000 per month with a contingency grant of Rupees 20,000 per year

Eligibility:-

Applicants shall have a valid Ph.D registration in any of the Universities in Kerala
on a research topic relating to intellectual property.

Shall be a full time research scholar in the University concerned.

Shall not enjoy any other research fellowship from any other institution.
3. Duration of fellowship: Two years which may be extendable up to Four years.

Procedure for selection:

A Committee consisting of three experts nominated by the Vice‐Chancellor along with the Director of IUCIPRS shall scrutinize the application along with the research proposal and may recommend for the fellowship.

The selection for scholarship is based on the quality of the research proposal. In case there are more than five candidates selected for award of fellowship, a list based on priority shall be prepared by the Committee.
