The mission of CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) is to prosecute and promote research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science for the advancement of knowledge and for the betterment of society;

It aims to provide facilities and offer opportunities for graduate and post-graduate education in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science by instruction, training, research, development and extension and by such other means as the University may deem fit.


B. Tech. Marine Engineering (Residential Programme)


Eligibility Criteria for Admission

One must have pass in the Plus Two Examination of the State of Kerala or any other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks and minimum 50% for Mathematics alone.

One should have passed English at 10th or 12th Standards with 50% marks (applicable to SC/ST candidates also)

Vocational/Diploma students are not eligible to apply.

Maximum age limit prescribed is 25 years as on 1st September of the year of admission.
