Give me detailed syllabus of CSIR National Eligibility Test. What is the paper scheme for this examination? I want to start self study for this exam. so provide me list of best books for CSIR National Eligibility Test. I want question papers also of this exam, so can I get some question paper along with those books?

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi invited applications for the Single MCQ Exam (Joint CSIR - UGC Test) for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) NET and appointment for Lecturer (NET). One can apply Online for the CSIR NET exam through the CSIR, HRDGs website on or before 17th June 2018 (Sunday). Eligibility Criteria Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian National Education Qualification: One should have M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B Tech/ BPharma/MBBS with minimum 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. One enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying exam as on the closing date of online submission of application form, is also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that one complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of 2 years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award. Such candidates will have to submit the attestation form duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared. B.Sc(Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with minimum 55%marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply One with bachelor degree is eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/ enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of 2 years One having Bachelor degree only shall not be eligible for Lectureship The eligibility for lectureship of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. PhD degree holders who have passed master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only Age Limit & Relaxation For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01st January 2018 {upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC(non-creamy layer) applicants} For LS (NET): There is no upper age limit for Lectureship Important Dates 2018 (Tentative) Tentative Date of Single MCQ Examination: 17th June 2018 Date of Commencement of Online Application Form: 05th March 2018 Date of Close of Online Application Form: 26th March 2018 extended to 6th April 2018 Last Date for receipt of Written request for change of Exam Centre: 19th April 2018 Tentative Date of Publication of List of Candidates Registered for Test: 18th May 2018 Issue of E-Admit Card to Registered Candidates: 01st week of June 2018 |
