Central Scientific Instruments Organization is a national lab committed to research, outline and improvement of logical and mechanical instruments. It is one of the constituent labs of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, a modern innovative work association of the nation.

Campus

CSIO grounds is arranged on the Ambala-Chandigarh expressway which houses the labs and workshops, Indo-Swiss Training Center (ISTC) and private complex. Conveniences on grounds incorporate Clinical Center, Crèche, Community Center, Health Club and Adult Park. There are 250 abiding units providing food for the workers.

Research facilities

CSIO has labs occupied with R&D projects of the organization. Some of these labs and offices have been reserved for completing examination/venture/theory of MTech/PhD level researchers.
