The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is an organization offers Company Secretary course.

This exam is conducted in three different stages.

Foundation
Executive
Final

Important dates:
Due Date for submission of CS Exam Form Dec 2014

Without Late Fees
25th Sept 2014 (5:30 PM)

With Late Fees of Rs. 250
10th Oct 2014 (5:30 PM)

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto are eligible.

Exemption From Foundation Examination:-
All graduates and post graduates (excluding fine arts) and those having passed in the Foundation examination of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of any other accountancy institution in India or abroad recognised as equivalent thereto by the Council of the Institute are exempted from passing the Foundation Programme examination.

Such students may directly seek registration to Executive Programme stage of CS Course.

Duration of Foundation Programme is 8 months, excluding the months of admission and the examination.

Foundation Programme students are required to pass the Foundation examination within 3 years from the date of their admission.
