CS after B.Sc in PCM

Hi I have completed B.Sc in PCM so can I eligible do CS course?

Yeah you are eligible to do CS course after B.Sc in PCM in direct II level exam i.e Executive Programme without appearing in Foundation programme

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the Company Secretary Exam. There are three stages to this exam – Foundation programme, Executive programme and Professional Programme.

Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.

Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course

Executive Programme-

The students are required to study and write examination in seven papers divided into two modules, i.e. 4 papers in Module 1 and 3 papers in Module 2.
A candidate is required to score 40% marks in each paper and 50% in the aggregate in each group to clear the examination.
The examinations are held twice in a year-June and December.

Paper 2. Cost and Management Accounting
Paper 3. Economic and Commercial Laws
Paper 4. Tax Laws and Practice

Module II

Paper 5. Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
Paper 6. Capital Markets and Securities Laws
Paper 7. Industrial, Labour and General Laws

Professional Programme Examination

Module I

Paper 1. Advanced Company Law and Practice

Paper 2. Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management and Due Diligence

Paper 3. Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency

Module II

Paper 4. Information Technology and Systems Audit

Paper 5. Financial, Treasury and Forex Management

Paper 6. Ethics, Governance and Sustainability

Module III

Paper 7. Advanced Tax Laws and Practice

Paper 8. Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings

Paper 9. Electives 1 out of below 5 subjects

9.1 Banking Law and Practice

9.2 Capital, Commodity and Money Market

9.3 Insurance Law and Practice

9.4 Intellectual Property Rights – Law and Practice

9.5 International Business – Laws and Practices
