Age Limit:
Between 18 to 23 Years as on 01/01/2014 (Relaxation in Age as per rules, download advertisement).

Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a Board or University recognised by Central or State Government.


Technical Qualification:
Constable (Fitter): 2 years ITI Diploma Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Diploma in Automobile issued by AICTE.

Constable (Driver): Transport Vehicle driving license and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.

For post of CT (Bugler/ Tailor/ Cobbler/ Carpenter/ Gardener/ Painter/ Pipe Band/ Brass Band/ Cook/ Water Carrier/Safai Karmachari / Barber/Washerman/Woman & Hair Dresser), applicants should be having good working knowledge of trade in which he/she wishes to be enlisted.

Physical Standards:
Height For Male applicants: 170 cm
Height For Female applicants: 157 cm
Chest (only for male applicants): Un-expanded - 80 cm (with minimum 5 cm expansion)
Weight: Proportionate/corresponding to height and age as per Medical standard.

Application Fee:
The applicants belonging to General and OBC Category are required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee and SC/ST, Female applicants and Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted from application fee.


Selection/Recruitment Process:
Applicants undergo tests Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
The Applicants will be selected on the basis of post and category wise merit lists prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in written test.
