Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the state of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir
162.5 cms. 150 cms.

ST Candidates 162.5 cms. 150 cms.

Chest Size Unexpanded Expanded
All Candidates 77 cms. 82 cms.
ST Candidates 76 cms. 81cms.

(c) Weight (Required)
Weight of the candidate must be as per medical standards, Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age . You can use this online calculator to know about your ideal weight

3. Medical Standards

Just like physical fitness, medical fitness is also required for this job . As per medical standards by CRPF required for this post :

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, squint in eyes or varicose vein .

The candidate is required to posses a high colour vision; He/She must be free from any mental or physical disability (Obstacle in performing his/her duties) .

A CRPF doctor will examine you via some laboratory, X-ray tests; You are required to get a fitness certificate from him .

There is no appeal valid in X-ray test or any other in re-medical exam .

Minimum Distant Vision Required – 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye (Without any glasses on lenses ) . Colour-blindness is enough to get you out from this recruitment at any stage even during training .
