Re: Criteria for M Tech in IIT Bombay

The Systems and Control group of IITB or Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, formed in 1977, is a unique interdisciplinary program in the country that offers post-graduate education in the broad area of Systems and Control.

Eligibility for Admission

One having First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline with a valid GATE score in Aerospace Engineering (AE) / Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) / Instrumentation Engineering (IN) / Chemical Engineering (CH).

One having two years of relevant work experience is exempted from requirement of GATE score provided the candidature is sponsored by the employer. One is not eligible for award of Teaching (TA) / Research Assistantship (RA).
