Criteria for M Phil Admission in Punjab University
My sister wants to do M.Phil from the Punjab University. She completed B.Tech with Computer Science and Engineering. She wants to do M.Phil with Computer Science research area. So can she take admission at there after B.Tech for M.Phil Program? Provide contact address of Punjab University.

Panjab University Master of Philosophy and Doctorate of Philosophy Entrance Exam acronym as PU M.Phil. Entrance Exam is conducted by the Panjab University to enrol candidates into M.Phill in the faculties of Arts, Business Management & Commerce, Design & Fine Arts, Engineering, Languages, Law and Science The eligibility at Punjab University for M.Phil program is based on subject wise. Eligibility: For this entrance exam of M.Phil admission at Punjab university candidates who has passed the Master’s examination in the concerned subject with a score of not less than 55% (50% for SC/ST/BC Category) marks in aggregate Candidates also have appeared in the final year examination of Master’s degree in the subject concerned from Panjab University, Chandigarh or from any other University shall also be eligible to appear for the M.Phil Entrance Test. Any candidate with M.Sc. (any branch of science)/ M.Tech./M.E. (any branch of engineering)/ M.Pharm. Relevant to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology would be considered as eligible to pursue Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Minimum 55% marks are required in qualifying exam and existing rules of the university will apply. Further, the final decision of enrolment will be subject to the approval by the Joint Academic Administrative Purse (JAAP) committee (subject to the approval of Syndicate/ Senate). |
