For Indian Air Force admission there is special criteria. The IAF has three branches of the Air force are Flying, Ground duty and Technical branch.

The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have Complete 12th with Physics and Maths to join as officer in Indian.

Candidates age must be an between 16.5 to 19 years,
Age relaxation OBC Candidates 3 yrs.
Age relaxation SC/ST Candidates 5 yrs.
Candidates must be male and unmarried.

Pass the Air Force Physical Fitness Test.
Score well on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT)
Have at least 90 college credits

Age:
For Officer:
16 to 19 years (candidates applying for NDA) 19 to 23 years (for graduate individuals in flying branch)

Sex: Male/Female (Depending upon the type of job)

Nationality: Indian.

Marital Status: Single.
